Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer/ Mobile Fitter with extensive experience working on heavy material handling equipment, including mobile plants such as loading shovels, mobile screens, and conveyors plus screens, conveyor belts, crushes.. The ideal candidate will have the ability to set up and manage servicing and preventative maintenance systems for both internal and external equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
" Carry out maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy mobile plant machinery, including loading shovels, mobile screens, and conveyor systems.
" Set up, manage, and implement effective servicing and preventative maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime.
" Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in heavy mobile plant machinery.
" Maintain and service both internal and external equipment, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally.
" Manage spare parts inventories and ensure timely procurement to support maintenance needs.
" Adhere to and promote health, safety, and environmental compliance in all maintenance activities.

Overtime Pay:
Time and a half - £28.85/hour
Weekend Rates -Double time = £38.46/hour

" 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
" Free on-site parking
" Monday - Friday 7 am-4 pm (however hours will fluctuate outside of these hours depending on the jobs- this will be on a rota basis.
